selects the AMT Flightman suite of applications for Fleet-Wide EFB Implementation

AMT commence implementation of the FlightmanTM Electronic Flight Bag solution

Aircraft Management Technologies (AMT) and friendly low-fares airline announce the selection of the Flightman Electronic Flight Bag Software to power the fleet. will install the Flightman software across their fleet of Boeing 737 and Boeing 757 aircraft.

The Flightman platform enables the onboard applications to connect to the existing ground-based infrastructure using secure 3G and wireless communications technologies, thus enabling more efficient processes and achieving valuable cost savings. Included in the core set of modules selected by are e-Journey Log, Electronic Flight Folder, Weight and Balance, Performance Calculations, Fuel Performance Analysis, e-Techlog, Large Content Management and Passenger Relationship Management. This solution allows integration of critical processes on the flight deck and reduces operational crew workload by ensuring single point data capture. has chosen to deploy the solution on Class 1 EFB hardware and view the ability to seamlessly integrate operational data from the aircraft to’s back office systems as a key enabler of operational efficiencies and cost savings.
