NERO24 supports trigger based services
10 January 2005
Applied Generics Ltd. today announced the first full release of its advanced triggering package for its NERO24 mobile location system. The package allows network operators, service providers and security organisations to monitor subscribers and alert their customers on events such as:
An unauthorised handset is used in a particular area.
Suspects are in proximity with each other.
A child’s handset leaves a pre-determined area.
The package is engineered for high capacity, low latency operation with minimal overhead on the client application even when monitoring hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
Ian Atkinson, Technical Director of Applied Generics commented “The trigger extension is a huge advance in the capability of the NERO24 base system. Our customers have a wide variety of interesting applications that are enabled by this new technology”.
