Genzyme Selects Automsoft's RAPID-Pharma in Global Deal

RAPID-Pharma to be deployed across Genzyme Therapeutics Manufacturing sites

Automsoft, the leading global provider of advanced database software designed specifically to manage production data for process industries in a secure environment, today announced a multi-million dollar deal with Genzyme Corporation.

Genzyme, a leading biotechnology company, is deploying Automsofts RAPID-Pharma across its primary therapeutic manufacturing sites. Genzyme will use RAPID-Pharma to manage its production environment. RAPID-Pharma will be responsible for all data capture; all process and plant information necessary for reporting and analyzing activities and trends will be derived through it. RAPID-Pharma is also being deployed to bring the facilities into compliance with the FDAs 21 CFR Part 11 ruling.
