Enigmatec joins XenSource Partner Program as Charter Member

Extends policy-based data center automation platform to include support for XenEnterprise

Enigmatec Corporation, a leader in policy based automation for on-demand virtual and physical IT environments, today announced that it has joined the XenSource Partner Program as a charter ISV member.  The partnership enables Enigmatec to extend its management capabilities for virtual environments to include support for XenEnterprise™, the multi-OS virtualization solution for the enterprise market that offers all of the performance advantages of the open source Xen™ 3.0 hypervisor.

Enigmatec delivers industry-leading automation software solutions for managing IT environments through its award-winning flagship platform - the Execution Management System (EMS™).  Built on EMS, Enigmatec’s Virtual Environment Automation Pack (V-Pack) automates the entire virtual image lifecycle, including development/test and production.  V-Pack enables distributed development/test teams to leverage large virtual machine environments in a consistent model that combines self service flexibility with strong administrative controls. V-Pack also enables IT operations teams to more efficiently deploy, maintain and manage production business applications deployed in virtual machines. This results in reduced operational costs, improved development/test team efficiency and faster new product time-to-market.

Enigmatec customers benefit from faster set-up and tear-down of virtual servers, improved administrator command and control (virtual machine aging, expiration, mode, storage and availability management), policy based optimization of shared virtual server resources, and platform independence.
