CacheLogic Receives Significant Capital Investment

Cambridge, England; CacheLogic, the Cambridge-based intelligent routing and caching company, has received a significant capital investment from early stage technology investment specialists Pentech Ventures and the Cambridge Gateway fund.

CacheLogic's flagship product, the Cachepliance, is currently in advanced field trials by many of the Tier-1 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and is positioned to be the most compelling solution available to one of the most immediate concerns for the ISP community. It greatly reduces the financial challenges created by network usage resulting from the meteoric growth in Peer-to-Peer (P2P) usage.

"CacheLogic provides tangible and immediate cost savings to ISPs and there is widespread interest from the market. This investment will enable us to accelerate product development and expand our geographic coverage" said Adam Twiss, CEO of CacheLogic.

Stephen Hill will join CacheLogic as Executive Chairman. Stephen was previously Managing Director of Inktomi Europe amongst other senior appointments and brings significant sales and marketing experience to the company.'
