Software in the broadest sense

You can see from the portfolio of companies we have invested in and from our personal expertise and background that our interests in software products is wide-ranging. It includes traditional software products as well as digital media, web 2.0, mobile and embedded applications, software-as-a-service, virtualization, intelligent user interfaces, search and retrieval, and much more.

We invest in software companies in the UK and Eire

Pentech can only invest in companies with a substantial presence in the UK or Eire. However, if you are currently not incorporated here, it is still worth getting in touch. We have helped companies relocate to the UK. They often use the UK market as a springboard to tackle other markets.

Early stage and beyond

Some of our investments have been in early-stage, pre-revenue companies from first-time entrepreneurs. But we have also invested in teams that have done it all before, and in companies that were already well established and were looking to break into new markets or new geographies.

Size does not matter

Depending on the market you are tackling or the stage of your company, your capital requirements will be very different. Depending on the nature of the proposal and the funding requirements now and later, we will invest on our own or lead a syndicate with investors from our large network of contacts.
