Aircraft Management Technologies was founded in 2000, but Bernard Hensey and Steve Hardgrave and is headquartered in Dublin. Their main software product is called eTechlog, and is targeted at streamlining operations in the aviation industry.

The core software platform, offers secure, wireless transmission of aircraft technical and operations data via XML technology and portable computing devices. Forms and workflow technology enable aircraft operations that are typically paper based, to be dealt with electronically. Flight and ground crew input operations and maintenance information via a web tablet, which is in turn transmitted to a web services-based Aircraft Data Server during the aircraft turnaround cycle. The information is then available to authorised users with Internet access and can also be transmitted to the airline’s own ERP systems. The initial target customers are commercial and cargo airlines worldwide.

The eTechlog solution offers a number of distinct customer advantages:

Flight crew may electronically record such information as de-icing, voyage reports and refuelling before electronically signing off the aircraft which then becomes ready for flight.

Defect records to component level can be recorded and transmitted to central systems, where the inventory department can be notified immediately.

Fuel loading and usage can be monitored to ensure maximum operational efficiency.

Updated NOTAMS can be transmitted directly to the eTechlog™.
