Since 1997, the Sonaptic founders David Monteith, Alastair Sibbald and Richard Clemow were responsible for creating, developing and commercialising the Sensaura 3D-audio technology (sensaura.com) from within the Scipher organisation. 

In April 2003, Sonaptic was formed to allow the team to take their audio innovation experience to the mobile devices market. 

Sonaptic’s initial products are:

Talk3D
Allowing virtual placement of participants in a telephone call and enhanced stereo playback (e.g. MP3). 

Game3D
The Sonaptic Game3D product delivers the most dynamic, immersive audio for game playing experience possible. 

Handset3D
Expansion of stereo imagery from standard handset loudspeakers which is currently popular in Japan.Phone audio effects; game audio effects.

Phone audio effects; game audio effects. 

Digital Silence
Digital ambient noise-cancellation.

Available as silicon IP for designs of stereo earphones and mobile phone earphones.
