How We Create Value
Pentech's combined experience helps us become part of the team, rather than simply an external financier.
When we commit to an investment, we commit much more than just money. It is our philosophy that venture partners should also contribute their collective expertise, be consistently accessible, and be guided by the fundamental belief that the investor's role is to enhance, not interfere with, successful operations. We have the knowledge and experience to help you succeed. We have founded and run software companies, served on numerous Boards of Directors, and worked with many successful companies. We have had direct experience overcoming the challenges facing growing companies and know how to navigate the ups and downs of the very competitive high tech environment. We have also developed a strong network of firms and individuals that we can call upon in an effort to help you succeed.
Our top priority is helping you win. Each Pentech partner serves on no more than 5 boards at any given time - well below the industry average. This ensures that we have time to respond to your needs and keep up with the evolving competitive and partner landscape. A commitment from Pentech is a commitment from all of our partners, not just one. Each portfolio company can call upon the collective skills of Pentech - not just the individual who takes a board seat.
We believe that venture partners must think and act as if they were hired by the management team. We have and are always ready to take on assignments and work on behalf of any of our CEOs.
Some of the services we provide to our entrepreneurs include:
